Procurement is one of the least understood — but most important — areas of the interior design industry. Yet many graduates enter the workplace with little understanding of how products are specified, ordered, managed, delivered and installed in real-world projects.
In this webinar, Elizabeth from The Procurement Studio will introduce the fundamentals of procurement within interior design, helping students and emerging designers better understand the operational side of the industry.
We’ll cover what procurement actually involves day-to-day, how procurement teams work alongside designers, common industry terminology, supplier coordination, budgeting, timelines and the realities of managing FF&E on live projects.
